Salon Trim
When we went to re-do the salon one thing I really wanted to change was the trim which was actually vinyl to wood. After we had removed it all we just happened to pull off some of the vinyl covering and discovered that it was real wood, not just ply wood, which is what the upper peices were. Some say its teak, others (like me) not so sure. But its close enough and we don't have to shape it, we just cleaned it up and put it right back on. The upper peices were ply wood covered in vinyl so we had to remake those.
Here is a befor shot of the vinyl trim.

Here it is removed.

Here is the trim after we removed them.

Heres the back of one, it was foam in front glued on, covered with vinyl, then stapled on the back.

All in all not to bad of a job getting it all off, the staples were a PIA for sure though. After it was stripped I went at them with a palm sander and 100 grit which cleaned up pretty good.
Here they are back on, there not a perfect match to the rest of the teak that was originally in the boat, but close enough for me!
