Engine Motor Mount Breakdown
This style of motor mount is like a giant wine cork, its essentially a rubber stopper stuck in the mount. When weight is applied the rubber stopper sinks down, if pressure is relieved it rises.
Here are some motor mount instructions from Barry Controls on using this type of mount.
The important thing to remember is you want the load indicator, which is that rectangular rubber block in that open slot under the mount in the middle. Here it is all the way to the top because there is no weight on this mount. You dont want it touching the bracket, or the top of the mount.
